“Having lost my father as a 13-year-old 1st generation Persian Canadian boy living in Toronto, I am who I am today due to the strength and love of my mother, the beauty and patience of my grandmother and my undeniable bond with my sister, three generations of Iranian Women. What voice and influence I have, I will use to help amplify their message and try to help ensure this isn't just another headline, here today and gone tomorrow, but the beginning of full rights for all women everywhere.”
